I’m a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine, and one of only a handful of doctors in the U.S. formally certified in the Shoemaker Protocol for biotoxin illness (CIRS). Years ago, I became mysteriously and debilitatingly ill. I saw specialist after specialist, had test after test, yet left every appointment with no answers and a new prescription that didn’t work. I was exhausted, foggy, in pain, and still had to show up for my family and my career. I know what it feels like to be told “everything looks normal” when you know something is very wrong.

What finally healed me was functional and integrative medicine combined with specialized training in biotoxin illness. Once I understood how environment, genetics, inflammation, hormones, gut health, and hidden toxins were interacting in my body, the path to recovery became clear.

That experience changed everything. I realized conventional medicine excels at acute disease and emergencies, but it often falls short with complex, chronic illness. So I went back to school—again—and immersed myself in advanced training so I could offer my patients what I once desperately needed: real answers and real healing.

Today, I bring that same curiosity, persistence, and compassion to every person who walks through my door. Most of my patients arrive tired of being told “it’s all in your head” or “you’ll just have to live with it.” My first job is to listen—really listen—to your entire story. Then we order the right advanced testing, connect the dots others have missed, and build a precise, personalized plan that treats causes, not just symptoms.
