Our Mission Joyful Journey is a peaceful sanctuary, vibrant community, and restorative retreat where guests from every background come to immerse themselves in our soothing mineral waters. We offer a sacred space to release the stresses of daily life, heal the body, and find deep inner peace.

Since 1999, as owner and guardian of these extraordinary waters, my heartfelt intention—shared by Elaine Blumenhein—has been to let the natural healing power of our mineral hot springs and nurturing therapies touch every visitor. May these waters awaken your spirit, uplift your heart, and reveal the profound benefits that have drawn seekers here for centuries.

Our Hot Springs Joyful Journey is blessed with rare, naturally super-heated mineral waters, warmed by the earth’s own geothermal energy. Unlike many hot springs, our waters emerge fresh and odor-free—no sulfur scent to distract from the pure experience.

Drawn directly from private artesian wells on the property, the mineral-rich water flows into our three outdoor pools, carefully tempered between 98°F and 108°F for comfort and therapeutic benefit.

For centuries, Native Americans, Spanish explorers, and early settlers sought refuge in these very waters. They valued their unique healing qualities—whether for physical therapy, recovery from illness, or respite from harsh winters. The Indigenous peoples simply called them “The Waters” and honored this place as neutral ground: a sacred sanctuary of peace where all tribes were welcome, differences set aside, and healing was shared by all.
